MAPW in conjunction with Japanese for Peace Friends of the Earth, and ICAN presents a screening of the documentary film Into Eternity which has been labelled ‘jaw-dropping’, ‘eerie, provocative, poetic’ and ‘cool’ andexplores the practical, political, philosophical and ethical problems associated with the storage of nuclear waste.

Into Eternity explores the political, philosophical and ethical problems raised by how to store nuclear waste. This documentary film by Danish director Michael Madsen is concerned with the implications of the Onkalo nuclear waste repository in Finland, supposedly built to last for eternity.
There will also be a screening in Sydney.
