Film: Ashes to honey
Ashes to Honey is the thrid film from director Hitomi Kamanaka on the issue of nuclear power and weapons throughout the globe. This film focuses on the island of Iwai-shima, where residents have been fighting the construction of a nuclear power plant for almost 30 years.
Hitomi Kamanaka will be speaking to the audience after the screening of the film.

Proceeds from the Ashes to Honey soundtrack, which is available on iTunes, will benefit the Iawi-shima 100% Natural Energy Project, led by residents of the area and the Institute of Sustainable Policies in Japan.
