Hiroshima Day film screening
Nowhere in the middle is a documentary interviewing people who live at the proposed radioactive waste dump sites. It is being screened on Hiroshima Day to remind people that the Federal Government still hasnt dumped John Howard’s plan to dump nuclear waste in the Northern Territory.
PHAA NT: Angela-Pamela

The Northern Territory Branch of the PHAA is hosting a lunchtime presentation regarding the proposed Angela and Pamela uranium deposits located 25 kms south of Alice Springs. Dr Gavin Mudd – hydrogeologist, civil & environmental engineer, Monash University, Melbourne will be giving the presentation.
Australian Nuclear Free Alliance
MAPW representatives will assist with planning and participate in the annual meeting of the Australian Nuclear Free Alliance, an alliance between environmental and Indigenous groups committed to ongoing support for Indigenous people defending country, culture and communities from the nuclear industry.
Angela Pamela U-mine meeting
A Public Meeting on proposed uranium exploration at the Angela Pamela deposits will be held In Alice Springs. The meeting will inform on the significant implications of uranium exploration and mining, and discuss options for community engagement and response. The keynote speaker will be Dr Gavin Mudd, a civil engineering lecturer at Monash University.
