Commemorating the Anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki
Join our reflection on the tragic use of nuclear weapons in 1945 and take part in an activity to inspire our efforts to ensure they are never used again.
Drumming ensemble El Tambo Taiko and school students -including from the Adelaide Japanese Community School –together with others will share with us their talents, perspectives and insights. Hear about the good news of the Nuclear Weapon Ban Treaty adopted in 2017 and the road still ahead to see it take effect.
