Human and economic costs of war
Created by the Eisenhower Study Group, named for Eisenhower's famous warning against the unwarranted influence of the military industrial complex, the Costs of War Project analyzes the implications of these wars in the United States and internationally in terms of human casualties, economic costs, and civil liberties. It includes papers from economists, anthropologists, lawyers, humanitarian personnel, and political scientists and aims to be "the first comprehensive analysis of a decade of wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan".
