Interfaith Celebration of International Day of Peace

This Interfaith event includes a children's art exhibition showing their individual meaning of peace; along with with musical, beadmaking, dovemaking, and conflict resolution workshops.

An interfaith meditation on peace will be offered and a presentation given by a representative from the South Australian Council of Churches.

Australian Nuclear Free Alliance: Annual Meeting

Over the past decade, the Alliance has become an increasingly important forum for collaboration between environmental and public health NGOis and Aboriginal people affected by the nuclear industry.  The Alliance played an important role in initiating and building the successful campaigns to stop the Jabiluka uranium mine and a national nuclear dump proposed for South Australia.

International Day of Peace celebration
