Cluster munitions, landmines and depleted uranium: MAPW and partners, 2008
This fact sheet gives a brief introduction to cluster munitions, land mines and depleted uranium weapons, and to their manufacture. These are all weapons causing indiscriminate harm to civilians. It was prepared by Dale Hess and is number 7 in a series on the global weapons trade.
MAPW fact sheet: Nuclear power and childhood leukaemia. October 2008
New evidence clearly demonstrates that living close to a nuclear power station increases the risk for children of developing leukaemia. MAPW's fact sheet summarises and provides the major references - a recent German study, and a new meta-analysis - on childhood leukaemia and nuclear power. (Or childhood leukemia, so this is found by US spellers).

This fact sheet looks at Raytheon and its role in arms production globally and in Australia. It was prepared by Dale Hess and is No 11 in a series on the global weapons trade. In August 2008, an arms fair planned for Adelaide, South Australia, was cancelled after public protest and a growing campaign to protest at the fair. Three weeks later, an arms fair planned for Ottawa in Canada was cancelled after a public campaign.
