This report notes leakages, spillages and breaches of regulations at the Ranger Uranium Mine since 1981. It reports exploratory research that shows a singificant overall increase in the incidence of cancer among Aboriginal people in the Kakadu region where Ranger is located; and calls for comprehensive monitoring there, and wherever uranium mining occurs.
