Kelvin Thomson MP addresses MAPW Council on nuclear treaties: August 2009
Kelvin Thomson MP chairs the Australian Parliament's Joint Standing Committee on Treaties (JSCOT), which is currently undertaking an broad-ranging inquiry into Australia’s nuclear treaties. Mr Thomson addressed MAPW's National Council on 29 August 2009. He discussed progress towards nuclear disarmament, including many of the international treaties being considered by the parliamentary enquiry.
