Vision 2030: MAPW launches alternative approach to Australian security

“Vision 2030: An Alternative Approach to Australian Security” will be launched at 10am on Monday 24 May at Parliament House Canberra. (see media release)

This 44-page booklet examines the 2009 Defence White Paper and calls for debate on Australia's military policies and expenditure.

Edited for MAPW by Immediate Past President Dr Sue Wareham, with Michelle Fahy, Vision 2030 has a foreword by Rt Hon Malcolm Fraser AC CH, former Prime Minister of Australia.

Vision 2030 will be launched by incoming ACTU President Ged Kearney; Hon. Judi Moylan MP; and Sen. Christine Milne.
