Dr Wigg has recently retired from working in family therapy; she has also previously worked in General Practice.
Special areas of interest:
Child Soldiers, psychological effects of war, and a curiosity about the madness of war as a solution to problems.
Background:
Dr Wigg joined MAPW's sister organisation in the UK many years ago, joining MAPW after moving to Australia in 1985. "I am a veteran of Trafalgar Square rallies with Bertrand Russell. I have had a lifelong quest for justice in the world. I believe that the practice of medicine involves a desire to relieve suffering in all its forms."
