MAPW Dinner: strengthening the NPT

The monthly meeting of the Victorian Branch of MAPW (every second meeting is held over dinner, with speakers).

Leading our discussion will be ICANⁱ Campaign Director (and former MAPW EO) Dimity Hawkins, who will discuss hopes for this year's crucial nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty Review Conference (all May, in New York); and how we can encourage our government to play a more positive role than in recent weeks.

Monash medical student Jessica Dean will update us on the letter she is circulating among Victorian students, asking that the government support a Nuclear Weapons Convention.
