End uranium mining: Day of action
On 11 March 2012, one year since the nuclear meltdown began at Fukushima, Australians will take part in a national day of action to end uranium mining. The Federal Government has confirmed that Australian uranium was in at least five of the six reactors at Fukushima at the time of the accident. There is only one responsible course of action: to avert a future nuclear catastrophe by ending the mining and export of uranium by Australia.
