Melbourne Darfuri Women Bring a Taste of Home to Brunswick

The Darfur Australia Network (DAN) will hold a benefit dinner at the Brunswick Town Hall. Local Melbourne Darfuri women will be cooking a feast of traditional food from the Darfur region of Western Sudan in conjunction with an African infused catering company. The night is being held to pay tribute to the strength of the Darfuri people resettled in Australia. 

The night will include performances from local African drumming groups and Sudanese women singers. A live auction will take place of local produce and arts and crafts. All profits made from the night will go to the essential work of DAN in supporting the voices of the Darfur community in Australia.
