MAPW letter to Auditor-General: NT radioactive waste dump contract transparency - October 2009
On 28 October 2009 MAPW President Dr Bill Williams wrote to the Auditor-General. Mr Ian McPhee, asking him to asses a contract between the Commonwealth, the Northern Land Council and the Muckaty Aboriginal Land Trust regarding assessment of Muckaty station as the site of a radioactive waste dump. Requests to review the document have been denied on the basis of it being "commercial in confidence". The letter asks for this to be reviewed.
