IPPNW 2008: Medical Call for Nuclear Weapons Free World
Our international organisation, IPPNWi, has drafted this letter to President-Elect Barack Obama of the United States and to President Dmitri Medvedev of Russia, calling on them to initiate negotiations on a Nuclear Weapons Convention. Prominent signatories are sought, for example Deans of medical schools, heads of medical associations; ministers of health; Nobel Laureates in medicine; editors of major medical journals; or members with Australian honours such as an OAM.
