The City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture will be held in Sydney Town Hall on Wednesday 2nd November at 7pm. The recipient and speaker will be Professor Noam Chomsky. As this event has been sold out,  Professor Chomsky will also speak on "Problems of knowledge and freedom" on Thursday November 3 at the Sydney Opera House.

An exhibition of photographs taken in the Hazarajat regions of Afghinastan by youth worker, freelance writer and former refugee  Abdul Kerim Hekmat. The exhibition gives insight into the plight of the Hazara and challenges the view that Afghan asylum seekers are no longer in need of protection.
