Richard Broinowski is a former Australian diplomat and former general manager of Radio Australia. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Sydney. Following the tsunami and ensuing nuclear disaster at Fukushima last year he travelled to the irradiated zone, to look at all aspects of nuclear power in Japan.

Nuclear New South Wales?

In March the NSW government passed the Mining Legislation Amendment (Uranium Exploration) Act 2012, overturning a 26-year bi-partisan ban on uranium exploration in the state.
